PolyphonyPolyphony is a revolutionary application modelling program - use Polyphony to create context (aka conceptual) and logical designs of the application functionality, and to check the design for integrity and consistency, all without using UML. In short, it changes the relationship between IT and the business. How does it work?It achieves this goal in an extremely simple way. It replaces boring old application documentation with a computer model. You can see how the application works through pictures. You can browse the pictures, expanding and contracting parts of the diagram, selecting elements and drawing a new diagram focused on the selected element, or by running scripts and seeing the diagram populated by data. The model has an active text front end so that it is no more difficult to use than a web page. The user reads the document and generates the diagrams by clicking on links in the text. Why is this revolutionary? Two reasons.
